Good news for energy and environmental sustainability!

Tesla Motors announced the creation of new technology home batteries which can storage and distribute energy for a long time. It seems that the cycle of dependency on polluting forms of energy will break sooner than expected.  

Ever since I can remember I would tell myself: "if something scares you, that's your target." So all my life I used fear as my personal GPS—or God's Positioning System. Facing your fears and getting through them is not really the problem. I believe anyone can easily get through any of their fears, yet that's not the point here. The problem is that most people cling voraciously to their fears, holding on to them as if their lives depend on them because they become part of their identity, what they know or think they know, and what feels more comfortable and safe. Being aware of my fears has allowed me and allows me not only to embrace them but to also overcome them; it has taught me clarity on how to grow and evolve from them using them as a my teacher and as my spiritual guidance. Yet, none of this makes me immune to them, I have them like anyone else.  So here are some of the things I have learned in my own personal relationship and journey with my fears, elements, I believe are key to understand, to embrace and to overcome your fears. Please take if you need: Redefine failure. Understand and realize that failure is just a stepping stone to success. Most of people's fears linger around failure, shame, or not living up to the standards society (or family) has put up for us. Awareness. Before you can overcome your fear, you have face and know what's causing havoc in your life. It’s so easy to get so attached to your thoughts and feelings that you end up thinking they are real, which of course couldn’t be further from the truth. Be fearless about getting crystal clear and specific about what exactly you’re afraid of. Ask yourself: what am I really scared of? What's the worse it could happen? Witness your inner space and switch gears. In other words, whenever you feel fear, switch it over to, focus on, what you are grateful for instead. Breathe. Your breath is your fastest, most direct access to your higher self and it can truly set you free. It'll anchor you in the Now and help you vanquish and overcome your most pervasive fears. Simply because fear and ego have no role to play in the Now. And remember, FEAR simply stands for "false evidence appearing real," unless of course your life is in danger. Otherwise, aim high and carry on fearlessly in the direction of your deepest desires and dreams.
